daron leaving. i lite this to give her a nice paramount. the four lighting setups are, PARAMOUNT, REMBRANDT, LOOP, AND SPLIT. most subjects are lite this way. this is a great example of paramount. im really happy with how it came out. I dolly into her face 6 inches, very slow as she leaves. this girl is very photogenic.

this is a one take shot. as neil talks on the phone, we start on his face close up. as the conversation gets rolling we slowly dolly out to about 8 ft.

this is a stedicam shot of the floor. I picked this frame cause it best describes what you see in this moment. hes got filth, and cigarettes and pictures all over his floor. hes been quite a bit of a shut in the past few days. it was an easy shot to do because im familiar with using this type of setdicam.

ahhahaha. i made fun of trite suicide movie. i guess you have to watch it to find out why. the class loved this shit, it really is funny. the movie is very serious in the beginning but you love to laugh by the end. i love mixing genres, im gonna be the first director to win an award for doing it right.

this was a cut scene in the movie. he is reminsing about his tour de france days, and so i do a quick montage of him racing. along with this shot, there are mediums and longs accompanying it. im sitting in the back of the truck with a fluid tripod to fully compensate for any bumps. the shot looks amazing, neil is flying on that bike.

in this shot, its very 21 grams esc, ecu, i wrack focused from the gears to his face, but there was slow camera movement sideways and a small tilt up. because i pulled focus with a dv camera, they were amazed, it has an infinity focus wheel, which means you don't know when to stop, but i did that shit.

daron gets out of bed in the morning making her desicion to finally leave the once pro cyclist. as she rises from the bed the camera locks to her first position and rotationally moves with her. it essentially stays horizontal with her, because she was laying in bed.

this was a cool shot, its in slow motion right before the bottle hits my head. i walk into the frame from the left as narration plays, then hte camera dollys in 15ft to my head. when i fall to the ground it tilts down and dollies out. all of this was done with a matthews dolly w/ gear head, so it looks amazing.

daron, the actress. mixing color temperatures in this shot. the cool blues in the bath, and the warm yellows in the background. the movie is color timed later to enhance these. this is a slow 2ft dolly into darons face as she comes out of the bathroom.
